jess, founder
Jess is a travel enthusiast who used to believe that kids and travel were mutually exclusive. That all changed with the birth of her first child, when she realized wanderlust doesn't just go away when little ones come along. During her almost five years of motherhood, she has relocated from Austin to Boston to Northern Massachusetts to London and then to Dallas, with vacations to Cabo San Lucas, Germany, Wales, Disney, and more thrown in for good measure. All that may just be what has given her a heart to help other families navigate their own journeys! Holding a Masters in English, she is a playdate-hosting, ballet-driving, baby-nursing tired mama of two who is ecstatic to be launching WanderLittles with the following team of WanderMoms.

Steph is a wife to an adventurous husband and mom to three wild, lovable boys (a big brother and a set of identical twins) currently living the expat life in Dubai, UAE. While always a traveler at heart, she didn't start accumulating those passport stamps until an opportunity for her husband's career moved the family to Hong Kong, China. Since then she has made the most of short flights to places on most people's bucket lists. Having young children, a 5 year old and twins that are almost 3, has made the experience of traveling so much richer getting to see the world through their eyes and sharing such incredible experiences.

Kelly has been blessed to travel all over the world in her previous life as a professional dancer in the Irish Dance show, "Lord of the Dance." And even in her current life, as mom to a beautiful baby girl, she continues to be on the move... just with a little extra baggage. Kelly hopes one day, her baby will love traveling as much as she has.

In Mel's former life, she earned a law degree in grey England, but now she is an official soccer mom in sunny Texas, making the long trek back to England at least once a year with her two little girls. If even Texas isn't bright enough for her, she takes her brood and heads to Florida, the Caribbean, or some other fantastic tropical destination. As our resident resort-ologist, she has found the perfect way to combat all that time in the sun: becoming a skin care consultant for the Rodan & Fields skin care line (she loves the Reverse Regimen to repair sun spots!).

McKinley is a military spouse and mom to two rambunctious little boys. Growing up in a military family, McKinley spent her youth traveling all over the United States. Now that she has entered the military life as a spouse, the adventure continues as her family most recently moved to Honolulu, Hawaii. McKinley enjoys traveling with (and without!) her kiddos, and is blessed to show her children different parts of the world.
She has a passion for encouraging moms of littles and believes that motherhood is only survived when moms do life together. She is currently working on her first book, Parenting is Fun and Easy, scheduled to be released in 2016. When she is not traveling, or writing, or wrangling her boys, McKinley’s most riveting evenings are spent in flannel pajamas with some Nutella-dipped strawberries and a glass of pinot noir. In other words, she is living the good life.

Zosia is military spouse, mother to a precocious son, writer, food lover, amateur photographer and world traveler. She has always craved adventure so when the opportunity arose for her family to move overseas, they all jumped in with both feet. Their first adventure landed them in Tirana, Albania where over the next few years they explored the Balkans and beyond with a toddler in tow. The term “child friendly” took on a whole new meaning as they discovered that traveling with a small child added a whole new adventurous aspect.
Their next family adventure landed them in Mons, Belgium where they are exploring the calmer side of Europe. Believing that life is too short to not jump at the opportunities that arise, Zosia and her family have traveled to 33 countries (and counting) since the start of their expat adventures. |
